About Us

About Us

Firefly Laser and Engraving is a family-owned business started by Brian and Rachel Jaques. Our mission is to deliver the highest quality laser engraving service to businesses to help elevate their brand and to bring joy to our community and beyond through personalized gifts. Many have asked us why we chose the name Firefly? Fireflies remind us that it's the small, simple things in life that matter most. They inspire us to slow down, ground ourselves, and appreciate the moment.

Building relationships with our customers is what sets us apart from our online competitors. Our goal is to gain a thorough understanding of our customers' business branding or personalized gift needs. This allows us to offer products and engraving services that bring their vision to life.

We are both Idaho natives and high school sweethearts. We have three amazing kids and just as many dogs keeping us busy. In our free time, you will find us enjoying Idaho's nature or at a sports event.

Meet Rachel

Rachel graduated from Boise State University in 2005 earning a degree in Business Management with an HR emphasis. Before starting Firefly, she spent 15 years working progressively elevating roles in HR, Management and Operations.

Since making the decision to launch Firefly, Rachel has spent countless hours honing her craft in the art of laser engraving. She has evolved her skills into utilizing advanced techniques to optimize results for customers. Rachel is the full-time face of Firefly and the main contact throughout your engraving service experience.

When she isn't running a business or spending time with her family, Rachel enjoys paddle boarding, hiking, and relaxing with her Boston Terrier, Joey.
